"Art has the power to evoke emotions, inspire conversations, and bring people together, and we hope that this showcase will do just that."
Jaimie Volkaerts is an abstract artist based in Birmingham. Jaimie takes inspiration from the vivid colours in nature, emotions evoked by music and the interplay of light and shadow. These elements combine in her work, creating captivating and emotionally charged compositions that are rich in texture and adorned with bold, vibrant colours. Her artistic journey began when she made the life-changing decision to leave her professional corporate career. Searching for artwork to enliven her home with personality and vibrant energy, she stumbled upon a local art class that sparked a deep passion for painting. Jaimie is represented by Creative Fine Art publishers and has work in a number of galleries across the U.K.
Ginte Zacharini is an artist that recently moved from Barcelona to Warwickshire. Harmony and balance is a core message conveyed in her abstracts and ceramics. Having lived a fast-paced life as a business person, she understands the stress and pressure that comes with striving for constant achievement. In response, Ginte creates abstract paintings that exude a sense of calmness and tranquility. Her intention is to provide a source of peace and serenity for viewers when they stand in front of her artworks. Through the use of colors, textures, and composition, she aims to create a visual experience that allows individuals to find solace and find a moment of respite from their hectic lives.
